The Northeast Rugby Union is the regional governing body for rugby in the northeastern United States.

The NRU has three member local area unions. These are the New England Rugby Football Union (NERFU), the New York State Rugby Conference (NYSRC), and the Metropolitan New York Rugby Football Union (METNY).

The NRU determines seeds to USA Rugby national competitions and fields representative sides for all-star collegiate men, U23 women, U19 women, senior women and mens and womens 7s.
